As of the a few days ago, subscribers and seniors now have access to CSS in their deviant journals. If you’re anything like me, you probably have little to no knowledge of CSS. CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets, and with this styling tool, you can change and develop your journal far more than what you could have been able to with your basic html.
Many people out there would love to use CSS, but lack the skills to write it. Here is a basic template for any of you to use. Simply click Download, and then copy and paste the code in the CSS section of your journal. This template is free to use, although I’d appreciate if you let me know so I can see it in action.
So, you’re probably asking yourself what’s so special about this theme in particular. What’s unique about this one is that it is designed to mirror the exact journal version of deviantART v4! Not sure what I’m talking about? You can see it in action here. This CSS journal theme will allow you to show your journal exactly as it would appear in deviantART’s v4. The fonts, sizes, colours and style have all been changed to represent the old school deviantART. So if you’re looking for a retro theme and can’t make one yourself, why not give this one a go!?
If you have any ideas or tips please do not hesitate to let me know.
A special mention to =Zikes for his help and inspiration.
Thanks!! I'm started to use the journal, i'm know some of code css/html (web designer), but when I try to use .journalbox, doesn't display the box, I'm using the next tag: (<div class=".journalbox"><p>content of all hehe</p><div>), some idea of this trouble??
I'm Gonna Use This One Until I Figure Out How To Make My Own!
Thanks!!!!!!!!
Lovely work!
