Emoticons are becoming increasingly popular on deviantART every day. There is no doubt about it. So, I felt the need to bring even more attention to a worthy cause, and thus created the Eat This Emote.

At the end of each month, I will select the best emoticon submitted over the past 30 or so days, and hence feature it. The emoticon chosen will not only be featured in my Shoutboard for the entire next month, but the creating deviant will also received a 3 Month Subscription to deviantART.

The winner of each month is based on a number of things; however it basically comes down to which ever emoticon is the tastiest and most delicious will be the one awarded the title Eat This Emote.

After the month is over, they will remain forever in the Eat This Emote: Hall Of Fame journal, along with the other previous winners.

Not only that but each month, a couple of other emoticons will be awarded Honourable Mentions, hopefully providing them with the attention they deserve. These are also delicious and one certainly snack on those too.
