It's time for my yearly journal entry and I had two things I wanted to share.
The first was this deviation that I very randomly stumbled across recently.

And the second thing I wanted to share was a crowd funding campaign I just launched. If you've enjoyed my work over the years, perhaps you'll consider making a pledge. Or sharing this with your friends. Especially if you like beer. Which you should because it's delicious.

Over the past two years or so I've been logging in every few months to see what's doing. I kind of like how everything has changed, I see new layouts, a confusing groups system and perhaps most importantly; updates to the Emoticon Legend. I guess it's also a bit sad that everything has progressed and I haven't been a part of it. I suppose I'll continue to check back in every now and then.
Between my social life, my career, university and other commitments, I just lost the passion I once had for this place. But I love that it is still thriving.
But I need a favour from you all. It only takes a minute.

+ Three New Emotes
So I haven't been around in a while. Unfortunately over the past year deviantART has slowly become less and less a part of my life. I think I'm coming up to four years on this place. That's a long time.
However it was nice to log in and find three of my emoticons officially added to the Legend. Certainly, an update to the Legend has been a long time coming, but good to see things moving along and although I bitched about it a lot back in the day, you have to give cred where it's due to deviants like mattdanna (https://www.deviantart.com/mattdanna).
It appears you crazy kids that make up the emoticon community today are still thriving. Keep that up, I've heard it's a pretty rad
